Karachi Declares April 23, 2024, Public Holiday, Schools Closed – Notification Issued

With the upcoming visit of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi to Karachi on April 23, 2024, the Commissioner Karachi has declared a public holiday for the city.

This means that both private and government offices, as well as schools, will be closed on that day, as stated in an official announcement made today.

Reports say that President Raisi plans to visit the famous Mazar-e-Quaid to pay his respects to Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan.

Additionally, it’s been mentioned that the President of Pakistan will throw a dinner to honor President Raisi, showing how important the relationship between the two countries is.

President Raisi’s visit is expected to strengthen the ties between Iran and Pakistan, especially in trade, security, and cultural exchange.

Public holiday in karachi notification

As preparations are made to welcome the important guest, extra security measures will be taken across Karachi to make sure President Raisi and his group have a smooth and safe visit.
