LAHORE: The Punjab government launched the first official online portal through which citizens can buy sacrificial animals from home for Eid ul Adha 2024.
According to media reports, with the launch of this portal, citizens can now obtain sacrificial animals online before Eid ul Adha.
The growing trend of modern technology has made it easier to buy and sell animals ahead of Eid, allowing citizens to purchase their preferred sacrificial animals from home through an online portal.
The portal, launched by the Punjab government, will feature pictures of the animals along with their age, weight, species, breed, price, and other details.
Officials of the Punjab Cattle Market Management say that this portal has been made secure for buying and selling; ID card numbers of both parties will be required before transactions.
Additionally, anyone can sell their animals after registering on the online portal, which will remain active even after Eid.
