LAHORE: Punjab University (PU) has declared the results of its first entry test for undergraduate programs. Candidates can view their results on the university’s official website.
According to a PU spokesperson, around 34,000 students appeared in the first entry test. He added that registration for the second entry test is currently underway and will remain open until July 4, 2025.
The spokesperson confirmed that students who appeared in the first test are also allowed to take the second one. The entry test is compulsory for admission to any undergraduate program at PU.
The second entry test is scheduled to be held on July 20, 2025, and will take place in all major cities across Pakistan. He said that 25% of the total admission merit will be based on the entry test score.
According to the PU Admission Committee, the entry test system has been introduced to ensure merit-based admissions and greater transparency in the selection process. This year, the university has also rolled out several digital facilities to simplify the process — including an online portal for registration and result checking.
