Punjab Summer Vacation 2024 Schedule. During the very hot weather in Punjab, the education minister announced the schedule for summer vacations in schools and colleges.
According to a private media report, the break will be more than two months, like last year. Usually, summer holidays start from June until August when it gets really hot, like over 40 degrees Celsius. Weather forecasts say it might reach 39°C in May 2024 and go over 40°C in June 2024.
The summer break starts on June 7, 2024, and ends on August 19, 2024, as per the education minister. The holiday notification will be issued by the Education Department in the coming weeks.
Before, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said June could be up to 49.5 degrees Celsius. In August, it might hit 48.63 degrees Celsius. The NDMA says June and August might be hotter than usual this year.
