LAHORE: Farah Iqrar, the second wife of TV host Iqrar ul Hasan and former newscaster, has confirmed her husband’s third marriage.
Speculations regarding Iqrar ul Hasan’s third marriage with TV presenter Arusa Khan had been circulating for the past year.
Iqrar ul Hasan himself has vaguely addressed the rumors surrounding his third marriage, while his initial spouse, Qurat ul Ain Iqrar, has also made ambiguous remarks regarding the matter.
Similarly, journalist and TV host Arusa Khan has also addressed the issue in a nebulous manner. However, Farah Iqrar has openly confirmed her husband’s third marriage for the first time.
Farah Iqrar recently made an appearance on a podcast where she confirmed her husband’s third marriage without divulging the name.
She mentioned that previously she wasn’t qualified to discuss the matter of her husband’s third marriage, but now she is addressing it because her husband himself has provided explanations.
She noted that Iqrar ul Hasan has discussed the third marriage in several interviews.
Farah Iqrar confirmed that a third individual has now become a part of their family, stating that their addition didn’t affect her but might have impacted her husband.
When questioned about her husband’s third marriage, she acknowledged that her husband had tied the knot but refrained from disclosing the name of his spouse.

Farah Iqrar stated that her husband’s third marriage hasn’t altered her status, but dividing Iqrar ul Hasan’s earnings and wealth into three parts might pose a challenge. She clarified that she had supported polygamy earlier as well.
According to Farah Iqrar, ever since she read and comprehended the Holy Quran, she has supported a man’s right to have up to four marriages according to Islam.
She mentioned that she herself had entered into a second marriage with her husband, who had informed her about his parental status before their union.
