RAWALPINDI: Punjab Police continues its promotion process, a departmental promotion board meeting was held to promote sub-inspectors to inspectors.
According to the details, In total 136 sub-inspectors, including 32 from Lahore, were promoted to inspectors.
The meeting, chaired by the Additional IG Punjab, included promotions for sub-inspectors from Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, DG Khan, Sahiwal, and Sargodha.
The promoted officers were placed on a three-year probation period. Among those promoted are Hafiz Tasadaq Hussain, Hashim Iftikhar Bhatti, Sadia Mahboob, Sonia Liaqat, Muhammad Javed, Muhammad Boota, Asif Ali, Muhammad Afzal, Ali Akbar, and Adnan Rashid.
At the Lahore Central Police Office, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met with police employees and their families on Tuesday. He listened to their concerns and issued orders for immediate relief.

In other news, a police spokesperson stated that the DIG Establishment-I was directed to provide relief for promotion requests of 12 inspectors and 10 sub-inspectors.
The Additional IG Punjab was told to look into Inspector Muhammad Azam’s request for a transfer. The DIG Welfare & Finance was asked to manage the financial aid requests from retired Sub-Inspectors Sajid Khan and Siddique Ahmad, as well as medical help for Constable Asif Ali.
DIG Establishment-I was directed to process Sub-Inspector Muhammad Shahid’s promotion request, while Additional IG Traffic Punjab was instructed to address Traffic Warden Zahoor Ahmad’s promotion request.
Reports say that, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar also issued orders regarding discipline, administration, promotions, welfare, and other related requests.
