ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has declared the commencement of the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) for aspiring students applying to Pakistani universities nationwide.
As per official statements, the test application process is accessible to students who have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or an equivalent grade 12 education, or those awaiting their final results at this level.
It’s worth noting that the test is scheduled tentatively for April 28, 2024, as announced by the HEC.
HEC is actively encouraging students interested in undergraduate admissions to register online via etc.hec.gov.pk. The deadline for registration for the test is April 14, 2024.
This initiative by the HEC aims to streamline the undergraduate admissions process and ensure fairness and transparency in university admissions across Pakistan.
By implementing the USAT, the HEC seeks to assess students’ academic abilities and readiness for higher education, providing universities with a standardized measure to evaluate applicants.
Furthermore, the introduction of the USAT by the HEC is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education and academic standards in Pakistan.
