ISLAMABAD: The Moroccan Agency of International Cooperation (AMCI) has announced scholarships for Pakistani/AJK students through the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to pursue Undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD studies at Moroccan Public Institutions of Higher Education.
Official sources stated that all applicants must present a valid HAT or USAT test score. Applicants without a valid HAT/USAT test score should refer to the Education Testing Council website for further guidance.
However, the nomination criteria are based on the HAT test score for Master’s/PhD programs and USAT test score for Bachelor’s programs.
HEC retains the right to adjust the nomination criteria, as mentioned by the sources. As per the specifications, a minimum of 12 years of education (FSC/A-level) is required for undergraduate programs, with a maximum age limit of 23 years. For Master’s programs, a minimum of 16 years of education in relevant fields is necessary.
For admission to PhD programs at Moroccan universities, a minimum of 18 years of education in the relevant field is required. Applicants must also meet other requirements stipulated by the respective Moroccan university.
“The Moroccan Government will only consider applications for the following programs in Undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD studies: Medical Studies, Paramedical Science, Commercial and Management Science, Engineering and Technological Science, Agronomic and Veterinary Science, and Architecture,” the sources added.
