KARACHI: On April 4, 2024, both public and private educational institutions will be closed to commemorate the death anniversary of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) founder, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
Schools, colleges, and universities across Sindh, including cities like Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, and Jamshoor, will remain shut on Thursday.
This marks the second holiday of the week, following the closure on April 1 for Youm-e-Ali.
The provincial government has issued a notification declaring a holiday on April 4. It stipulates that all government offices, autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the provincial government, except those engaged in essential services, will observe the holiday on Thursday.
