ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has taken action against 26 buildings in two private housing societies in Islamabad for violating building bye-laws.
The Building Control Section of CDA has sealed 17 buildings in Soan Garden and nine in Ghori Town due to significant violations of building regulations.
An official from CDA stated that the owners of these sealed buildings have been notified to dismantle any illegal structures on their properties.
This operation is part of CDA’s ongoing efforts to combat encroachments and unauthorized constructions in urban areas and various housing schemes.
It’s worth noting that many private housing societies have utilized land earmarked for parks, graveyards, and other amenities for residential and commercial plots.
