Punjab Schools Ramadan Timings 2024: Notification Issued

Notification of new timings for government and private schools during the month of Ramadan 2024 has been issued in Punjab.

It should be noted that last year, during Ramadan, classes in all public and private schools continued from Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM, while on Fridays, the timing was from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Expected Eid-ul-Fitr 2024 Date in Pakistan – Check Details

In Pakistan, Ramadan 2024 is starting on March 12th. An official notification has been issued regarding the timing of all schools and educational institutions in Punjab during Ramadan.

According to the notification issued on March 11th, 2024, the new timing for schools during Ramadan in Punjab is as follows:

  • Single Shift Schools: 8:30 AM to 1 PM, Fridays 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
  • Double Shift / Afternoon Schools: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Evening Shift 1:30 PM to 4 PM.
  • Fridays from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Punjab Schools Ramadan Timings 2024:

School Type Monday to Thursday Friday
Single Shift Schools 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Double Shift/Afternoon Schools 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Evening Shift 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

The notification specifies that there will be no morning assembly during the month of Ramadan.
