ISLAMABAD: InDrive, a leading ride-hailing platform, announced on Wednesday that it is expanding operations to five new cities in Pakistan.
“InDrive is excited to unveil its expansion into five new cities, namely Larkana, Kāmoke, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, and Okara,” the company stated in a press release, setting the stage for a transformation in the transportation sector.
The company’s objective with this expansion is to offer “seamless, convenient, and dependable mobility solutions” to a wider demographic within the nation.
InDrive also emphasized its commitment to introducing innovative transportation choices for both urban and suburban areas.
The press release noted, “The introduction of InDrive’s services in these cities represents a significant milestone, further establishing the company as the preferred option for contemporary, efficient, and cost-effective mobility.”
Sidra Khan, the company’s Public Relations Manager, was quoted in the press release, saying, “Our new service provides urban residents with the convenience of accessing transportation right from their homes, eliminating the need to go out in search of it. This service not only benefits both drivers and passengers by saving time and eliminating the challenges of street hailing but also addresses issues like finding rides during unconventional hours such as early mornings or late nights.”
She went on to emphasize the various advantages that the ride-hailing service offers to drivers in smaller cities, including flexible work opportunities, reduced unemployment, additional income, enhanced community involvement, and positive contributions to the local economy.
The press release concluded by stating, “This expansion aligns with InDrive’s mission to connect people and places, while simultaneously fostering the growth and development of the region’s inhabitants.”
