Chairman of the LPG Association, Irfan Khokhar, confirmed the price cut and said the government has officially reduced LPG prices. He said the domestic cylinder will now cost Rs2,838 instead of Rs2,893, while the per kg price has dropped from Rs245 to Rs241.

He also mentioned that the commercial cylinder price has been reduced from Rs11,130 to Rs10,920.

Irfan Khokhar urged the government to stop taking action against small shopkeepers, saying LPG is not produced by retailers. He demanded that the government ensure official prices are maintained at the plant level.

He also criticized the authorities for failing to act against the powerful LPG mafia, stating that action should be taken against those responsible instead of targeting poor shopkeepers.
