LAHORE: The Lahore High Court has allowed restaurants to remain open from Iftar to Sehri.
Justice Shahid Karim of the Lahore High Court heard the case related to smog remedy on Tuesday, and the court issued a written order.
In the written order, the court directed schoolchildren to conduct one day of practical work related to the environment each week and requested that a report on the curriculum be submitted at the next hearing.
According to the order, the report from the public prosecutor stated that the electricity to all tire-burning units had been disconnected.
The court further stated in its order that instructions had been issued to prevent LESCO officials from cutting trees; LESCO should first inform PHA if any trees are to be cut.
Furthermore, the court has allowed restaurants to remain open from Iftar to Sehr.
