Elections 2024: PML-N Candidates’ List Contesting Polls in Lahore District

LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has unveiled its roster of candidates set to participate in the elections scheduled for February 8 in Lahore District.

The PML-N is presenting 12 candidates for the National Assembly seats and has allocated 29 tickets for the Punjab Assembly seats.

Prominent figures such as PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, President Shehbaz Sharif, Senior Vice-President Maryam Nawaz, and Vice President Hamza Shehbaz are also contenders in the metropolis, which is considered a stronghold for the party.

Out of the 14 NA seats, the party has secured tickets for 12, and it has entered an electoral alliance with Istehkam Pakistan Party (IPP) on two constituencies—NA-117 and NA-128, where Aleem Khan and Awn Chaudhry will be the respective candidates.

Similarly, for Lahore’s 30 provincial assembly seats, the party has distributed tickets for 29 seats, reserving PP-149 for IPP, where Abdul Aleem Khan will contest.
