The death toll among Israelis in Hamas attacks on Israel has risen to 700, with over 2200 individuals sustaining injuries, many of whom are in critical condition.

Hamas’s Al-Aqsa Flood Operation claimed the lives of 50 military personnel, including a high-ranking officer. A newly released video shows an attack by Hamas on an Israeli military base. In another Hamas operation, 15 Israelis lost their lives in Ashkelon. Ongoing clashes between Israeli forces and Hamas persist in eight Israeli cities.

Reports suggest that Hamas is holding over 100 Israeli hostages in Gaza.

Meanwhile, the United States has declared its intention to deploy a war fleet, including five destroyers and an aircraft carrier, to support Israel in its conflict with Hamas. American Defense Minister Lloyd Austin has announced plans to reinforce the American Air Force in the region and provide additional military equipment to the Israeli army.

It is noteworthy that the conflict escalated following the launch of 7000 rockets from Gaza into Israel, resulting in clashes between Palestinian resistance movement Hamas and Israeli forces on multiple fronts—land, sea, and air. Over 700 Israelis have lost their lives, while more than 2200 have been injured, and over 100 have been taken captive.

According to Israeli sources, the most senior Israeli officer, Colonel Jonathan Steinsburg, was killed in the clashes with Hamas. In return, Hamas claims to have taken several individuals hostage, including Major General Nimrod Aluni, a senior Israeli commander. Hamas has also fired over 7,000 rockets into Israel.

Arab media reports indicate that 413 Palestinians, including children and women, have been killed in Israel’s attacks on Gaza, with over 2,300 individuals sustaining injuries.

Simultaneously, a closed-door meeting addressing the Israel-Palestine tension is underway at the United Nations Security Council.
