Metro Bus Fares in Islamabad and Rawalpindi Have Increased

ISLAMABAD/RAWALINDI: The fares of the Blue, Green, and Orange Line metro bus services in Rawalpindi and Islamabad have been raised.

There is unfortunate news for the citizens of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, as the fares for the Blue, Green, and Orange Line metro bus services have been increased.

Following the rise in petroleum product prices, the proposal to increase the fares was discussed in the CDA board meeting. Subsequently, the CDA raised the fares for all three metro buses. The increased fares will become effective after the notification is issued.

The final decision to raise the fares was made during the CDA meeting. According to this decision, the fare for Green and Blue Line buses has been increased from Rs. 30 to Rs. 50, and the fare from N5 to Islamabad Airport has been reduced from Rs. 50 to Rs. 90.
