The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has provided an update on the status of mobile and broadband internet services across the country.
As per PTA’s clarification, the suspension of mobile internet service will continue until further notice. However, PTA has announced that broadband internet service will be reinstated nationwide.
PTA explains that the Ministry of Interior had issued orders to suspend mobile internet service, and as of now, no instructions have been given to restore the service.
Notably, today marks the third consecutive day of mobile internet service and social media site shutdown throughout the country.
