PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has decided to pay salaries and pensions to government employees by May 30, 2025.
AS per the report, In view of Eidul Azha, the provincial government has issued instructions for the timely payment of salaries to government employees before the last Sunday before Eid.
The Treasury Department has sent notifications to all government departments and offices regarding this matter.
It should be noted that June 1 is a Sunday, so salaries for the month will be disbursed on the last working day of the month.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will give May salaries and pensions by May 30. The decision was made to help employees before Eid holidays.

On another front, Pakistan and the IMF have completed negotiations on the preparation of Budget 2025-26.
According to sources in the Ministry of Finance, the government has also shared proposals to reduce taxes on salaried classes and industries, as well as cut developmental and non-development expenditures.
Meanwhile, in another initiative, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to elevate Batagram Tehsil to district status.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, a significant meeting of public representatives of Hazara Division was held. The meeting discussed consultations on next year’s annual development program and the development of neglected areas.
