JAMSHORO: Police have filed cases against several nationalist protesters who attacked the convoy of First Lady and Member of National Assembly Aseefa Bhutto Zardari near Jamshoro Toll Plaza.

The incident happened while Aseefa Bhutto was traveling from Karachi to Nawabshah. Protesters, who were demonstrating against a canal project and corporate farming, stopped the convoy on the M-9 Motorway. They threw stones and used sticks to hit the vehicles.

Video footage of the attack went viral on social media. According to police, the protest turned violent near Benazir Gate, where the road was also blocked.
