Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that domestic cricket events will resume across the country.
According to PCB, the President’s Trophy Grade-II will start again from May 14. The quarter-finals will be played from May 19 to 21, and the final match will be held from May 28 to 31.
The PCB also confirmed that the Regional Intra-District Challenge Cup and the Inter-District Under-19 One Day tournaments are also being resumed.
Earlier, on May 10, PCB had suspended all domestic cricket events due to rising tensions between Pakistan and India. The suspended events included the President’s Trophy Grade-II, Regional Intra-District Challenge Cup, and Under-19 One Day tournaments. PCB had said the decision was taken because of the security situation in the country.
At that time, PCB also said that the events would be rescheduled soon and would continue from the same stage where they were stopped.
