ISLAMABAD: Earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad, the federal capital, and Rawalpindi.
According to a private TV channel report, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.5.
Tremors were also felt in Swat and surrounding areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with a recorded magnitude of 5.5 on the Richter scale. Earthquake tremors were also felt in Buner and nearby areas.
The report stated that the earthquake’s epicenter was in the Pak-Afghan-Tajikistan border region, with a depth of 12 kilometers.
According to the latest reports, strong earthquake tremors were felt in Attock, Chakwal, and nearby areas.

Due to the earthquake, people became scared and rushed out of their homes. No reports of loss of life or property damage have been received.
