JARANWALA: A bus collided with a rickshaw on Jaranwala Faisalabad Road near Adda Lundianwala, killing eight members of the same family and injuring five others.
According to the reports, the accident happened when the bus hit the loader rickshaw. Eight people in the rickshaw died at the scene, and five were badly hurt.
Reports Say that the people who died include Shazia, wife of Saleem (35 years old), Shehzad, son of Sakhi Muhammad (26 years old), Amna Bibi, wife of Shahbaz Ali (18 years old), Humaira, daughter of Shahbaz Ali (15 years old), Mumtaz Bibi, wife of Shah Jahan (35 years old), and others. Five died at the spot, while three of the injured passed away later in the hospital.

Police and rescue teams arrived after the accident was reported. They took the bodies and the injured to the hospital.
The condition of the injured is serious, and there is a chance that more people might die. Police say the bus was traveling from Jaranwala to Kasur. They have started investigating the incident.
Last year, an accident happened in Samundri, an area of Faisalabad, where four people died and 18 were injured in a traffic crash.
CCTV footage of the incident has come up. The footage shows a car moving fast, losing control, breaking barriers, and coming onto another road.
The car hit a van coming from the opposite direction. The man, woman, and two children in the car died at the scene. The crash also injured 18 people in the van.
