KARACHI: Two cattle died from electrocution at the livestock exhibition held at the Expo Center in Karachi.
According to the President of the Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association Pakistan, Shakir Umar, two cattle died due to electrocution at the livestock exhibition at the Expo Center.
Shakir Umar said that the incident took place at an exhibition organized by the Sindh government. The Livestock Department will compensate the affected person.
It should be noted that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Provincial Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Muhammad Ali Malkani inaugurated the Livestock Expo 2025 exhibition at the Expo Center in Karachi.
In addition to more than two thousand different rare breeds of animals, hundreds of birds, and rare breeds of fish brought from all over Sindh, a musical concert, Qawwali, and a food court have also been organized at the Livestock Expo.

On Friday, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said in his speech on the occasion of the Sindh Livestock Expo exhibition that there is a need to increase the farming and export of prawns.
Murad Ali Shah said that President Zardari will visit China next month, and mutual partnership projects in the livestock sector may also be discussed.
