Opposition leader Omar Ayub, Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur, Aleema Khan, Azam Swati, Taimur Masood, Shehryar Riaz, and more than 300 local leaders and workers have been named in the case.

According to the text of the case, the protesters damaged a government motorcycle and vehicle, while the accused kidnapped a police driver and tortured him before releasing him. The founder of PTI allegedly planned to march on Islamabad, directing party leaders from Adiala Jail.

Case No. 2594 includes various provisions, including interference in government affairs, violation of Section 144, and accusations of damaging government and private property as well as blocking highways by assembling a crowd.

It should be noted that, on Imran Khan’s call, PTI convoys departed from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on November 24 to protest in Islamabad.

While entering Punjab from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a clash occurred between protesters and police. PTI workers pelted stones at the police, who responded with tear gas shelling.
