Dayan drama cast, timing, story and OST unveiled as Mehwish Hayat returns to TV after 9 years

Pakistan’s popular actress Mehwish Hayat has returned to television with the drama Dayan, which includes love, revenge, suspense, and action. The trailer for Mehwish Hayat’s drama was released in early February, with an announcement that it would air soon.

Now, the first episode of her drama has started airing on Geo TV from February 24. At first, the name of Mehwish Hayat’s drama was not revealed, but it has now been named Dayan.

The story of Dayan was written by Fatima Faizan and Amber Azhar, while it was directed by Siraj-ul-Haq. It was produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi.

The drama Dayan, which has love, revenge, suspense, and action, includes a cast with Mehwish Hayat, Ahsan Khan, Hira Mani, Usman Peerzada, Afshan Hayat, Naeem Ejaz, Zainab Qayyum, Usama Tahir, Sohail Sameer, Nida Mumtaz, Shameel Khan, and Zehra Aamir, along with others.

Note that Mehwish Hayat has returned to TV after almost 9 years through this drama. Her last drama, Dil Lagi, aired with Humayun Saeed.

Although she worked in a telefilm called Ijaza with Hassan Shehryar Yasin (HSY) in 2023 after 2016, she is now appearing in a drama after 9 years. After 2016, Mehwish Hayat appeared in films and web series. She worked in the American science fiction female superhero web series Ms. Marvel and also appeared in several songs.
