ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Traffic Police has prepared a route plan for heavy traffic to help citizens during the Pakistan Day Parade on March 23, 2025.
According to the traffic plan, heavy traffic will not be allowed to enter Islamabad from 12 PM on March 22, 2025, until 3 PM on March 23, 2025. From 6 AM to 1 PM on March 23, Srinagar Highway from 7th Avenue (Seventh Avenue) to Korianwala Chowk will be closed for all traffic.
Traffic going to Bhara Kahu should use Seventh Avenue, Pak-China Road, Rawal Dam Chowk, Kashmir Chowk, and Club Road. Because of this route, Srinagar Highway and the Expressway may face traffic delays.
Heavy traffic from Peshawar to Lahore should take the Taxila Motorway and Tarnol Phatak to Fateh Jang Motorway. Heavy traffic from Lahore GT Road to Islamabad and Rawalpindi should use Chak Beli Road to Chakri Motorway.

Citizens traveling from GT Road Peshawar to Rawat should use Taxila Motorway, Chakri, Chak Beli Road, and Rawat. Those going from Lahore GT Road to Peshawar should use Rawat, Chak Beli Road, Chakri, and Taxila Motorway.
