The spokesperson remarked, “We believe that the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan should be a border of peace. The closure of the border by Pakistan is a response to the serious security situation. We are currently in negotiations with the Afghan government, and the interim Afghan government has conveyed its concerns regarding the recent incident on the Afghan border.”

Regarding the Chitral attack, the Foreign Office spokesperson mentioned that they have expressed their concerns about the situation in Chitral to the Afghan authorities.

Speaking about Pakistan-Russia relations, the spokesperson noted, “There are significant relations between Pakistan and Russia, and numerous delegations have been exchanged between the two countries.”

The Foreign Office spokesperson added, “The Indian leadership should focus on addressing its own challenges instead of making comments about Pakistan.”

Chitral Attack:

It is worth noting that on the night of September 6th, terrorists attacked two army posts on the Pak-Afghan border in the Kailash area of Chitral, resulting in the martyrdom of four brave soldiers from the Pakistan Army.

According to ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations), the security forces successfully repelled the attack, causing heavy casualties among the terrorists. In the exchange of fire, four soldiers were martyred, and 12 terrorists were killed, with a large number of them sustaining serious injuries.
