ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif laid the foundation stone of the Danish Schools system in the Bhimber district of Azad Kashmir and said that this project will be completed in a short period of one year. He announced that such projects will also be launched soon in Poonch and Neelum.

He said that Danish Schools are the fulfillment of the dreams of underprivileged and deserving children, which was the vision of Nawaz Sharif. Thousands of boys and girls have proved their mettle by getting higher education under these schools.

The Prime Minister said that if Danish Schools were not established, it would not have been possible for poor and orphaned children to get a quality education. Shahbaz Sharif further said that Danish Schools will have separate centers and playgrounds for boys and girls, and all their expenses will be borne by the federal government.

He also expressed his determination to establish a network of educational institutions across Azad Kashmir. The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, Secretary General of PML-N, Chaudhry Tariq Farooq, and other important personalities.

The Prime Minister said in his address that it is a welcome opportunity that a project like Danish Schools is being started in Azad Kashmir. These schools are for those intelligent children whose parents are unable to provide them with education due to a lack of financial resources.

He said that if these schools were not built, these children would have been lost in the dust of the streets of their villages. Shahbaz Sharif further said that the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir would also be happy that their children in Azad Kashmir would become great builders of Pakistan and Kashmir by getting a quality education.

He said that instead of institutions reserved for the children of the rich, Danish Schools are providing higher education to orphans and poor children, which can be a means of bringing a revolution in education. The Prime Minister assured that the Government of Pakistan will lay a network of education and training centers in those areas where such institutions do not exist.
