RAWALPINDI : In a successful intelligence based operation conducted in South Waziristan, Pakistani security forces eliminated 13 khwarij, the ISPR said in a press release.
The operation, which took place on December 24-25, targeted a hideout of khwarij (terrorists) in the Sararogha area based on credible intelligence.
The press release added that during the operation, security forces effectively engaged the khwarij (terrorists) location, resulting in the killing of all 13 terrorists.

It further stated that these khwarij were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities, including attacks on security forces and the killing of innocent civilians.
The ISPR press release concluded by stating that a sanitization operation is currently underway to eliminate any remaining Kharji in the area. The security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism from the country, the press release emphasized.
