According to media reports, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq said that, to move the negotiation process forward, he has invited members of both committees to meet at 11:30 AM tomorrow.
The Speaker thanked the Prime Minister for forming a committee to negotiate with the opposition. Ayaz Sadiq said that the Prime Minister’s decision is a positive step toward solving issues through dialogue.
Ayaz Sadiq also said that he has invited both the government and the opposition to negotiations in good faith, and that his office doors are always open to members. He emphasized that only through talks and dialogue can solutions to issues be found.
It is important to note that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, on the Speaker’s suggestion, has formed a negotiation committee consisting of members from the ruling coalition.
The government committee includes Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Rana Sanaullah, Irfan Siddiqui, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Naveed Qamar, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Aleem Khan, and Chaudhry Salik Hussain.

On the other hand, the PTI committee includes Umar Ayub, Asad Qaiser, Salman Akram Raja, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, and Sahibzada Hamid Raza.
Last night, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar requested the Speaker of the National Assembly to play a role in facilitating negotiations.
