Islamabad factory roof collapses, 5 workers die

ISLAMABAD: The roof of a factory in the Humak area of ​​the federal capital, Islamabad, collapsed, causing 5 workers to die after being buried under the debris.

According to rescue sources, 8 workers were buried under the debris due to the collapse, out of which 3 were rescued alive, while 5 died.

The report states that among the dead workers, 4 were from Taunsa Sharif and 1 was from the Malir area of ​​Karachi.

Police sources confirmed that 3 workers have been rescued in the incident, while Lucky, Sajjad, Kabir, and Ejaz are among the deceased.

Islamabad police and rescue teams are engaged in rescue operations, and the concerned SP, SDPO, and other officers are present at the scene.
