Last year, about 700,000 animals were brought to the market, and 600,000 were sold, which was a lot.
The Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) said 6,360,000 animals were sacrificed on Eid ul Adha in 2023, which was 28% to 30% fewer animals than before.
