ISLAMABAD: The noose is gradually tightening around the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan. The Election Commission of Pakistan is gearing up to initiate legal proceedings against Imran Khan.
Insider reports suggest that the Election Commission is set to undertake two significant actions against the PTI Chairman. Firstly, he is anticipated to be de-notified from NA 45 Karam. Subsequently, there are indications that Imran Khan might face removal from his position within the party.
Sources familiar with the matter reveal that the Election Commission’s planned actions will only unfold after formal consultations. These measures stem from the ongoing Tosha Khana criminal case involving the PTI Chairman.
