In Dunedin, Switzerland showcased their prowess, clinching a well-deserved win against the Philippines. The Swiss team’s star player, Beechman, netted the opening goal in the 45th minute, and Pueble extended the lead to 2-0 in the 64th minute, securing a comfortable victory.
Meanwhile, in the clash between Spain and Costa Rica, the Spanish team asserted their authority early on. Del Campo found the back of the net in the 21st minute, followed by Mon Mati scoring just two minutes later, granting Spain a decisive 3-0 lead that lasted until the final whistle.
