ISLAMABAD: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti announced on Monday the forthcoming launch of an air ambulance service, marking a historic milestone for the province.
In his statement, Bugti highlighted the introduction of the People’s Air Ambulance service, aimed at swiftly transporting patients during emergencies to bolster access to critical medical assistance.
The introduction of the Air Ambulance will enable rapid transfers of patients to major hospitals nationwide, including Quetta, the provincial capital, in times of crisis. Rather than selling one of the two planes owned by the provincial government, Balochistan authorities have opted to repurpose it for public service.
Bugti emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing service delivery across all sectors, particularly in healthcare, within Balochistan.
He underscored the significant impact achievable through prioritizing decision-making reforms, aiming to provide quality medical facilities to underserved communities through innovative measures within the health department.
Bugti reiterated the province’s dedication to utilizing available resources for the betterment of public welfare.
