KP govt announces relief package for martyrs, injured of Indian aggression

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced a special relief package for the families of those martyred or injured as a result of Indian aggression.

Accroding to the details, the Chief Minister clarified that if any person from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is martyred or injured due to Indian aggression in any part of the country, the provincial government will provide financial assistance to their heirs and victims.

He said that this assistance will be provided under the provincial relief package, and the families of the martyrs and the injured will not face any difficulties.

He further stated that the provincial government will support its people in every difficulty and will provide full assistance to all families affected by Indian aggression.

This government initiative acknowledges the sacrifices of the martyrs and expresses solidarity with their families.

In other news, according to the U.S. State Department, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio had a telephone conversation with Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir, during which the U.S. Secretary of State offered cooperation to reduce tensions between Pakistan and India.

The U.S. State Department stated that Marco Rubio offered constructive U.S. support to avoid future conflicts.

On the other hand, sources say that the U.S. Secretary of State also contacted Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, emphasizing the need to reduce tensions. However, Ishaq Dar clarified to the U.S. Secretary of State that if India refrains from further aggression, Pakistan can pause, but if India continues, Pakistan’s response will be even stronger.

It should be noted that Pakistan has launched an operation in response to Indian aggression, initiating “Operation Baniyan Marsoos” (Iron Wall) against India. Several targets in India, including Udhampur, Pathankot, and Adampur airbases, multiple airfields, a BrahMos storage site, and the S-400 missile defense system, have been destroyed.

Security sources stated that the targets, which were used to attack Pakistani civilians and mosques, have been struck. According to security media reports, Operation “Baniyan Marsoos” was launched against the enemy at dawn, and the Fatah-1 missile was fired at India.

According to the ISPR, the Fatah missile has a range of 120 kilometers, includes a modern navigation system, and offers high accuracy.
