ISLAMABAD: A meeting was held at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) headquarters, chaired by CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, to review sector development work.
As per the press release, the meeting discussed progress on various CDA sector projects. Senior officials, including members from environment, engineering, estate, finance, planning, enforcement, and other departments, attended.
Officials briefed the chairman on the development of Park Enclave Phases 1, 2, and 3. They reported that road infrastructure in Park Enclave Phase 1 is complete, and plot possession has been handed over to allottees.
The chairman directed the environment wing to focus on soft landscaping, eco-friendly tree planting, and building a park in a suitable location.
He also instructed that commercial areas in Park Enclave be developed and that drone footage be used to monitor progress. Development updates should be shared regularly on CDA’s website and social media.
For Park Enclave Phase 2, officials said over 75% of plot owners have received possession. The chairman asked for the remaining possessions to be handed over soon. He directed the estate and finance wings to resolve issues related to built-up properties (BuPs) on priority and to clear illegal constructions to reclaim land.

In Park Enclave Phase 3, officials informed that electrical installations will be completed in two months, and tenders for streetlights and poles will be published soon. Civil work is in its final stages.
The chairman instructed officials to visit the sites, ensure funds are provided, start boundary wall construction, and deliver basic facilities quickly. He also said school plots and other amenity plots should follow CDA rules.
The meeting also covered Sector C-14, where road infrastructure groundwork is done, and funds have been released for remaining work. Payments for electricity supply are being finalized with IESCO. Horticulture, lights, drainage, and sewage work are being completed. The chairman emphasized providing modern solar streetlights and finishing all pending tasks.
For Sector C-16, infrastructure and culvert work is progressing quickly. The chairman directed the planning and estate wings to resolve BuP issues immediately.
Sector E-12 was discussed, with instructions to install signboards, provide basic facilities, clear illegal constructions, and focus on landscaping and tree planting.
In Sector I-12, most development work is complete. The chairman directed effective measures for waste management.
Chairman Randhawa said all new sectors should be developed on priority, and plot possession in completed sectors should be given immediately after development charges are paid.
