Pakistan to begin New Zealand tour with T20 series on March 16, 2025

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan cricket team will begin their tour of New Zealand with a five-match T20 series starting on March 16, 2025. The first T20I will be played at Hagley Oval, Christchurch.

Pakistan team held their first training session in Christchurch, where batsmen and bowlers practiced in the nets. The players also took part in fielding drills and fitness exercises. Another practice session is scheduled for today.

The second T20I will be played on March 18 at University Oval, Dunedin, followed by the third T20I on March 21 at Eden Park, Auckland.

The fourth match of the series will take place on March 23 at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, while the fifth and final T20I will be played on March 26 at Sky Stadium, Wellington.

After the T20 series, Pakistan and New Zealand will face each other in three One Day Internationals (ODIs). The first ODI is set for March 29 at McLean Park, Napier. The second match will take place on April 2 at Seddon Park, Hamilton, while the third and final ODI will be played on April 5 at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.

Pakistan will be captained by Salman Agha, whereas Michael Bracewell will lead the New Zealand side. Both teams are gearing up for the series and aiming for strong performances.
