New timings for Lahore High Court, district judiciary in Punjab during Ramadan 2025

LAHORE: Court timings for Ramadan have been announced for the Lahore High Court and the subordinate courts (District Judiciary) in Punjab. A notification has been issued in this regard.

After approval from the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, the court and office timings for Ramadan have been set for the Lahore High Court and courts across the province.

According to the notification, case hearings at the Lahore High Court and its benches will take place from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM during Ramadan. On Fridays, hearings will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

In the District Judiciary of Punjab, case hearings will occur from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. On Fridays, hearings will be from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

Ramadan 2025 Court Operating Hours in Punjab:

Court Days Timings
Lahore High Court & Benches Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Lahore High Court & Benches Friday 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Subordinate Courts (Punjab) Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Subordinate Courts (Punjab) Friday 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Meanwhile, the Punjab School Education Department announced revised timings for all educational institutions in the province, including Lahore, during the holy month of Ramadan 2025.

According to the official notification issued by the Punjab Schools Education Department, schools will start at 8:30 am during Ramadan and will be dismissed at 1 pm. On Fridays, schools will be dismissed at 12:30 pm.

In double-shift schools, the first shift will start at 8:30 am and will be dismissed at 12:30 pm, while the second shift will start at 1 pm and will be dismissed at 4 pm. On Fridays, the second shift will start at 2:30 pm and will be dismissed at 5 pm.
