Dera Ghazi Khan: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif addressed a public gathering in Dera Ghazi Khan and announced the construction of a modern cancer hospital in the city and a university in Rajanpur.
He expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from the people of Dera Ghazi Khan, saying it brought him great joy to be there. The Prime Minister stated that progress has become Pakistan’s destiny, and the country’s economy is moving towards improvement.
He emphasized that his team has worked day and night to serve the people, and the vision of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has always been focused on development. Shehbaz Sharif assured that the people of South Punjab will not be left behind.
He credited the development of Punjab to the era of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and praised Maryam Nawaz for her efforts in serving the people of Punjab. He mentioned that Maryam Nawaz is working tirelessly to provide medicines to every household and expand healthcare facilities across the province.

The Prime Minister recalled that when his government took charge, inflation was at its peak. He said they made the difficult decision to prioritize the country over politics, which helped reduce inflation from 40% to 2.4%.
He added that Pakistan’s economy has now stabilized, and the country has entered a new era of progress and prosperity. Shehbaz Sharif stated that his government is working closely with the provincial governments of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to ensure national development.
He stressed that all provinces are equal to him, and Pakistan cannot progress under the burden of loans. Shehbaz Sharif vowed to change the fate of the country and lead it towards new milestones of development.
He said even if he spends his entire life serving the people, it would not be enough to repay their kindness. The Prime Minister also highlighted that during his foreign visits, Pakistan’s development has always been his top priority.

Shehbaz Sharif pledged to work day and night for the development of agriculture, industry, and export sectors. He promised further reductions in electricity bills and paid tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces.
He warned that external forces are conspiring against Pakistan, but such plots will never succeed. The Prime Minister condemned strikes and protests, saying they harm the country, but he remains determined to make Pakistan a great nation.
He announced that the Leh Bridge will be completed soon and expressed his resolve to surpass India in economic growth.
Shehbaz Sharif promised to return to Dera Ghazi Khan to review the progress of development projects. He assured the public that his government believes in actions, not just words, and will continue to work tirelessly to put Pakistan on the path to progress.
