Rawalpindi/Islamabad: Commuters in the twin cities are informed about updates to metro bus and feeder route services.
The Rawalpindi Metro Bus System will remain partially closed today (Thursday) due to construction and maintenance. Services are available only between IJP and the Secretariat.
In another development the metro administration has announced that all stations, except Chandni Chowk, are fully operational. Chandni Chowk station provides limited service. Passengers traveling to Saddar from Chandni Chowk must switch buses at Rehmanabad. Those traveling from Islamabad to Chandni Chowk can catch return buses from Committee Chowk.
In Islamabad, there is a temporary change to the CDA-operated electric bus feeder route. Due to construction, the FR-3A (Forward) route will now bypass the PIMS (PMBS) Station, travelling via Nazim-ud-din Road to Faisal Mosque. However, the FR-3A (Backward) bus will stop at the PIMS/Centaurus Metro Station on its return trip to PIMS.
