This follows the annual Hajj agreement signed on last week, by Pakistan’s Minister for Religious Affairs, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah. Under the agreement, 179,210 Pakistani pilgrims will perform Hajj this year, with commitments to provide special accommodations in Mina at reduced rates.
The Ministry has also introduced a short Hajj program of 20–25 days, offering flexibility in accommodation options in Madina. Each pilgrim will receive a bag with the Pakistani flag, a QR code for identification, and other essential information. A special mobile app will help pilgrims stay updated on their group details, training schedules, flights, and accommodation.
