The FIA’s advisory also includes strict checks for passengers from Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, as well as travelers using two foreign airlines. The agency has asked for better profiling of travelers going to 16 countries, including Libya, Iran, Mauritania, Iraq, Turkey, Qatar, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
The FIA has instructed immigration officers to interview suspicious passengers to find out their travel plans and financial details. Officers are also required to keep detailed records and report anything unusual. They will check all documents, like return tickets and hotel bookings, carefully. Special attention will be given to tourists and visitors with short-term visas.
