Federal Minister for Interior, Mohsin Naqvi, stated that all services will be moved to the mobile app, replacing the Pakistan ID website. Fraudsters had been using fake websites to assist in making fake identity documents. They would collect citizens’ personal information for misuse. NADRA’s website will be shut down on January 17, 2025.
The Interior Minister added that citizens, especially overseas Pakistanis, faced difficulties using the website. Uploading fingerprints and required documents was a challenge.
The Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have taken strict action against fraudsters. NADRA is working with other agencies to take action against them.
Minister Naqvi also mentioned that NADRA’s mobile app has been improved. All services, including identity cards, NICOP, POC, B-form, and FRC, are available on the app. Citizens can complete all procedures for identity documents at home through the app.

Naqvi also shared that three new NADRA regional centers will be set up in Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Gwadar, and Gilgit-Baltistan. These centers will start operations by March 31.
The new offices will improve communication between NADRA officials and citizens, making services more accessible in remote areas. Citizens’ issues will be resolved quickly, and complaints will be handled promptly.
He further added that NADRA offices are still to be set up in 19 tehsils across the country. Work on this is ongoing, and all NADRA offices will be operational in these areas by March 31.
