With this, the total number of registered political parties with the Election Commission has reached 168.
In a recent statement, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi clarified that he was not upset with the PML-N leadership. He said he decided to leave the party when it focused more on gaining power than respecting the vote. Abbasi mentioned that despite being in power, PML-N was not popular among the people.
Speaking in Sukkur, Abbasi explained that he left the ruling party not for personal gain. He also shared his view on former Prime Minister Imran Khan, saying he was receiving “training” in jail, a process that he believes many politicians go through while incarcerated.
Abbasi discussed the failure of political parties to deliver on their manifestos. He stated that no government had been able to provide proper services to the public.
