High-Speed Bus Overturns in Rajanpur, Leaving 5 Dead and 20 Injured

RAJANPUR: A high-speed passenger bus overturned in the Fazilpur area of Rajanpur, resulting in a devastating accident that claimed the lives of 5 people and left 20 others severely injured.

According to rescue sources, the victims included 2 children and a woman. The tragic incident occurred when the driver apparently fell asleep at the wheel.

The passengers were traveling from Sakhi Sarwar to Jacobabad when the unfortunate accident occurred.

Rescue personnel promptly responded, transferring the deceased and injured individuals to District and Tehsil Hospital Fazilpur for medical attention.

Just days after a tragic bus incident near Babusar Top in the Geeti-Das area, claiming eight lives and leaving numerous others injured, another devastating accident occurred.

On Friday, a tourist bus plunged into a deep gorge after failing to negotiate a sharp turn on the mountainous terrain, resulting in the bus catching fire.

Prior to these incidents, on July 16, there was another unfortunate bus accident in the Thalichi area of Diamer district, claiming six lives.
