ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Police registered a case on Thursday regarding the attack on Bushra Bibi’s ex-husband, Khawar Maneka, on court premises.
As Per Media Report, The case was registered based on the complaint of the district court’s security in-charge.
The FIR states that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawyers, including Naeem Haider Panjuta, Ali Ijaz Buttar, Zahid Bashir Dar, Usman Gull, and Ansar Kayani, along with 20 to 25 unidentified individuals, attacked Maneka on court premises.
It states that Advocate Burki led the mob by inciting it with provocative statements, issuing death threats, and kicking Khawar Maneka. Naeem Panjutha and Ali Ijaz Buttar also assaulted Maneka and he fell on the ground.
The case has been registered under charges of terrorism and other offenses.
