Service Long March Tyres Group Invests Rs 300 Billion, Boosts Pakistan’s Economy

LAHORE : Service Long March Tyres Group informed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of its plan to invest an additional Rs 300 billion to create new job opportunities and increase exports from the country.

Prime Minister  Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the company’s decision to expand its operations in Pakistan, citing the positive outcomes of the government’s business and investment-friendly policies.

During a meeting with the prime minister, Chairman Jin Yongsheng of Service Long March Tyres stated that the new investment would generate 1000 new jobs and potentially raise the company’s exports from Pakistan to US$100 million annually by 2025. Chairman Jin Yongsheng acknowledged the government’s investment-friendly policies under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership and thanked him for initiatives to combat smuggling in the country.

Prime Minister  reiterated the government’s commitment to enhancing investment in the country, emphasizing the development of a comprehensive framework to further facilitate the business community and investors. Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb and Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar also attended the meeting.
