RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed three terrorists in an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) conducted in Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Saturday.
The IBO in Karak district was initiated upon receiving reports of terrorist presence, as stated by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
During the operation, there was a fierce exchange of fire between our troops and the terrorists, resulting in the demise of three terrorists and injuries to four others.
Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were seized from the deceased terrorists, who were actively involved in various terrorist activities targeting both Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and innocent civilians.
A sanitization operation is underway to ensure the elimination of any remaining terrorists in the area.
Local residents have praised the operation and pledged their full support to eradicate the terrorist threat, according to the ISPR.
